Interview With…….Jake Lucas

From the world of karting and single seaters to pack racing in the Swift Sport Challenge it’s been a big year for Jake Lucas. But he’s got family alongside him both on and off the track to make the transition smoother!

Question 1 - Who are you and what do you race? - My name is Jake Lucas and I race in the 750 MC Suzuki Swift Sport Challenge. 

Question 2 - What got you into motorsport? - My dad took me karting at my local track and I got the big for racing and ever since then I’ve been working up the ladder. 

Question 3 - What is your dream car, track and era combination and why? - My dream car would have to be a Koenigsegg Jesko Attack and as for my favourite track it would be Brands Hatch GP as it’s my home track and such a challenge for a driver. 

Question 4 - You race for Power Drive Racing alongside your Dad, what's it like being on track with him? - Racing with my dad is great, it has made us closer than we already are and it’s great that we can have a good and fair time on track together. 

Question 5 - What do you wish someone had told you before you started racing? - One thing I wish someone had told me would be to ignore what other people think of your dreams and pursue what you believe in.
